Websites for cleaning companies

A website for your cleaning company

A website for a cleaning or building cleaning company brings in work when it is found for every single service and a quote request takes no more than a minute. With me it costs from €1,490 as a one-page site and from €3,490 with a separate page for each service, each at a fixed price. That is exactly how I built the website for the cleaning company DARMEL e. K.: 51 landing pages for ten services in five towns – and according to the client, search performance on Google has doubled since.

What do building cleaning customers search for?

  • A specific service: regular contract cleaning, office cleaning, window cleaning, after-builders cleaning, stairwell cleaning.
  • Their own type of property: office, medical practice, nursery, residential complex, building site – every customer wants to see themselves in your offer.
  • The frequency: daily, weekly or one-off – and whether special cleaning jobs are possible too.
  • Reliability: fixed contacts, cover when staff are off sick, insurance, key handover.
  • A quick route to a quote, without having to phone first.

How does a page per service and location bring in new work?

‘Window cleaning Augsburg’ and ‘after-builders cleaning Stadtbergen’ are two different searches from two different customers. For DARMEL e. K. I therefore put ten cleaning services in five towns – Augsburg, Stadtbergen, Königsbrunn, Friedberg and Gersthofen – onto 51 separate landing pages, each with its own title, its own description and a clear heading structure.

What matters is that each page makes sense on its own and answers the questions customers ask about that particular service – pure copies with the place name swapped are treated by Google as spam. On mobile, the homepage scores 90 for performance and 100 for SEO in Lighthouse (measured on 14 September 2026), and the website was finished in three weeks. All the details are in the DARMEL case study.

„Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit unserer neuen Website! Maurice de Felice hat sie modern, professionell und sehr benutzerfreundlich gestaltet und optimal auf unsere Wünsche abgestimmt. Die Zusammenarbeit war unkompliziert, zuverlässig und schnell. Klare Empfehlung!“

What does a good quote request form look like?

A cleaning company cannot put together a quote without a few key details. Instead of an empty message box, the form therefore asks specifically for the type of property, the approximate floor area in square metres, the desired frequency, the location and the earliest start date. The enquiry lands in your inbox complete, and you can usually work out a price without having to get back to the customer with questions.

At DARMEL, every enquiry now goes straight to the company – the old website offered no way of getting in touch at all.

How do you speak to business and private customers at the same time?

A facility manager looking for a contractor for several office sites and a family that needs a thorough clean after moving house read the same website with completely different questions. Separate entry points – ‘For businesses’ and ‘For households’ – each with its own tone and its own services make sure that both quickly find what they are looking for.

What information builds trust with new customers?

Anyone who hands a cleaning company the keys to their office or residential complex wants to know who they are dealing with. Useful details include fixed contacts with a photo, a note on your business liability insurance, how you manage keys and how cover is arranged during holidays or sickness.

For medical practices, nurseries or food businesses, hygiene concepts and staff training count as well. Only mention what you can back up – if you wish, I link certificates and memberships directly to the issuing body so that customers can check them.

How can the website help you find staff as well?

  • A job page with working hours, locations and hourly pay speaks to applicants more directly than an advert on a job portal.
  • A short application from a phone – name, phone number, preferred hours – lowers the barrier considerably.
  • You add new vacancies yourself in the CMS, without needing a developer.

How does working together work?

  • Initial meeting: which services, which locations and which customers do you want to win?
  • A list of services and locations, from which I derive the page structure and the fixed-price offer. I work in milestones: a deposit before the project starts, then one payment after each accepted milestone.
  • I write the texts for each service and you check them for accuracy – you know your own processes best.
  • A CMS is added if your content changes often – whether you need one is something we clarify in the initial meeting. With it, you add new services and vacancies yourself.
  • You book hosting and domain yourself – I tell you exactly what you need and set everything up.

Yes. ‘Office cleaning Augsburg’ and ‘after-builders cleaning Augsburg’ are different searches made by different customers. A separate page can appear for both – a catch-all page matches neither of them exactly.

The DARMEL website with its 51 landing pages was finished in three weeks. A one-page site is usually online in 2–3 weeks.
